Madcow Productions is a relaxed, big sound, small budget recording studio located in Essex Jct. VT. Owner Mark Lucia has been involved in the music/recording industry since the mid 1980′s. Playing in bands, recording demos on 4 track recorders and live sound had always been part of daily life. Growing up in a small town located in the North East Kingdom of Vermont, Mark had to be a jack of all trades when it came to making his own band demos. The closest studio would be 70 miles away. Realizing there was a need for recording bands in the area, Madcow Productions was born. The year is 1988 and glam rock, hair metal, Bon Jovi and bands like Poison are running wild. Mark relocated to the Burlington, Vermont area in the Mid 1990′s and found a great music scene and has been recording bands ever since.
